About the Workshop //

We are living through history as it unfolds.

For many months, we have been navigating an extraordinary reality in which the routines of everyday life have been profoundly disrupted. We are living through a time defined by contradictions: remarkable resilience alongside deep pain, inspiring unity alongside profound disagreements. Yet amid this immense hardship, Israeli society has also revealed extraordinary strengths compassion, resilience, generosity, volunteerism, and solidarity.

The challenge of building shared society is both complex and multifaceted. Advancing this work requires broad partnerships, mutual learning, and collaborative social action across sectors and communities.

Since the events of October 7th, our definitions, language, and emotional landscape have changed. As we see it, cultivating a strong community requires time, attentive listening, and the creation of a shared foundation from which we can all grow together. With this understanding, the Partnership Fund, together with its supported initiatives, came together in March for a community gathering.

One of the gathering's main objectives was to create a safe space for conversation, listening, and reflection—approaching one another with sensitivity and humility. Together we explored questions such as: What have we experienced? How have we changed? What can we learn from one another? And with whom can we build new relationships and collaborations that strengthen our shared social, professional, and human network?
